Pretty boring weekend. Spent the day Saturday walking around in the rain. I spent most of the day totally soaked. Sunday we just drank most of the day. We tried to Hitch out to Abel Tasman but it was not working so we figured beer always works out well. The rain Saturday really put a damper on things because we were not able to kayak and hiking was just messy. Well it was not bad just a little boring.
So now it is Monday and the Van should be fixed this afternoon and we will head to Castle Hills to meet up with this guy Matt and some others to do some climbing. It should be fun.
New engine and all!!

    Sounds like you are making the best of it...new engine, new friends, newly wet and of course, you never met a beer you didn't like. Hope the weather clears up a bit, I always thought the area was prettiest after a good rain and the sun came out.

    Thinks are the same ole same ole here. Getting closer to letting the 35-40 people left on the short list that the City will be laying them off. Not pleasant. I guess they are also talking about making everyone take Memorial Day off without pay. Hmmmm, that will affect some more than others. Ms Jo gave me you blogger and since I'm in Facebook and Twitter, just didn't seem right to read about your adventures without saying something. Ask Stacy if she is being good? Nancy has moved over to the front counter for 60 days of training....Becky is pulling out her hair.
